Lottery Officials Say Powerball Has Reached $1.5 Billion

Lottery officials have just announced that the estimated jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball drawing is now at an incredible $1.5 billion dollars.

The cash payout is now $930 million dollars. That's almost 1 billion dollars after taxes. It makes me nervous just thinking about winning that kind of money. Sure, you'll be coughing up 570 million in taxes, but who cares?
