Dr. James Palmer and his family of Homer, Louisiana are receiving death threats after people are mistaking him for the dentist that killed the beloved lion in Zimbabwe.

Dottie Palmer, wife of Dr. Palmer, says this is a "new kind of bullying I've never been exposed to." She reads some of the emails, and comments/messages they've received in the video below. She has taken it upon herself to respond to every negative comment via social media, or email clarifying the mix-up.

Cecil the lion was killed last month by big game hunter, and Minnesota dentist, Dr. Walter James Palmer. The backlash that has come after his identity was learned has forced him into hiding. It has also caused death threats to other Dr. Palmers across the country.
