(KMDL-FM) Our sources at the Louisiana Lottery confirmed that a jackpot ticket was sold in Louisiana in the Saturday night draw games. On Saturdays, the Louisiana Lottery participates in Powerball as a member of that multi-state lottery group. They also host drawings in Louisiana-only games Lotto and Easy 5.

Powerball gets the most attention. Deservedly so, the jackpot amount in Saturday's Powerball was an estimated $586 million for the annuity; the lump sum jackpot was advertised at $247 million.

If you'd like to see the drawing for Saturday's Powerball, you may view it here. The winning numbers according to Powerball were:

12   13   24   32   35   Powerball 11   Power Play x3

Earlier this week, in Monday's drawing, a ticket sold in Louisiana was a big winner. And speaking of big winners in Powerball, there is a $1 million Powerball winner that was sold in Baton Rouge back in April that has only one week left before it expires. There is also an Easy 5 winner worth $50,000 that was sold in Rayville that will expire this week; it's only got a couple of days until it is reclaimed by the lottery.

There was one Match 5 Million winner sold for Saturday's Powerball game; that ticket was purchased in Maryland. The largest Powerball win in Louisiana in Saturday's game was $300; only seven tickets earned that prize. There were another 21 tickets that earned a $100 prize. It could have been $300 if they'd spent the money on Power Play.

The jackpot win came in the Easy 5 game. The top prize was $70,000, and the winning ticket was sold in Lafayette, LA. If you bought an Easy 5 ticket at Albertson's on the corner of Ambassador Caffery Parkway and Kaliste Saloom. I believe the official address is 4400 Ambassador Caffery Parkway, then you might be holding a $70,000 winner.
