Tik Tok has become the standard for social media viewing. Viral videos in under 3 minutes on a convenient platform make for countless hours spent swiping. You can learn everything from the latest fashion trends to cleaning products, to organizational videos. The platform is best known for its viral dance videos, and they came during the pandemic when no one had anything to do but dance and make up dances.

Did you know that some of your favorite and most viral Tik Tok creators have ties to Louisiana? I've gathered a few of the most popular (and my favorites) for this list.

Check out some Tik Tok Creators with Ties to Louisiana

With 86.6 million subscribers on Tik Tok, Addison became one of the first viral Tik Tok superstars. Addison was born right here in Lafayette. She spent some time studying sports broadcasting at LSU before her popularity skyrocketed on the app. She's known to come back and visit Louisiana every once and a while, when she isn't hanging out with Kourtney Kardashian or doing viral dances on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Patrick is an 18-year-old Tik Tok creator from New Orleans. Not much is known about him, except for the fact that he has 1.8 million followers. His content seems to be based on current trends, whether it involves photo hacks or pranks...he seems to be doing something right. He makes a lot of videos in and around the French Quarter.

The reigning queens of Tik Tok. The D'Amelio sisters rose up the ranks of Tik Tok overnight. Charlie (she's on the left) has 136.1 million followers, while her sister Dixie (on the right, obviously) has 57 million followers. If I did the math correctly, the sisters have nearly 200 million followers combined on the app. Their mother, Heidi, is from the Hub City. In fact, the whole family made a trip down to Lafayette for Christmas in 2020.

I first found out about Landon on Instagram. He had some pretty hilarious videos with these made-up characters, complete with wigs and props. He is from the Baton Rouge area, and was even at an LSU game last year with his family. He has gotten pretty popular in recent years, including appearances on several daytime talk shows. He currently has just over 1 million followers on Tik Tok.

Oh, Cale. He is one of my personal favorites on Tik Tok. Cale just seems to have a knack for comedy, as he makes tons of videos with made-up storylines that will have you cracking up. You also can't forget those dance moves. Cale was responsible for several viral dance videos, including one set to DaBaby's "Rockstar". Cale is from the Baton Rouge area and stays true to his roots as seen in his many southern videos.
