Louisiana Woman Arrested for Threatening Juveniles With Handgun – “I Don’t Care If They Kids or Not, I’ll Shoot Them!”
A woman in Monroe, Louisiana made front-page news earlier this week after she was arrested for waving a firearm during a verbal altercation.
While that in itself is not earth-shaking, it's who she was shaking that firearm in front of and what she said to them that raised some eyebrows.
It happened this past Tuesday, April 12, 2022, around 8:21 pm, when Monroe Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of South Grant in reference to a disturbance.
Upon arrival, officers communicated with the juvenile victims who advised them that a Black female waved a firearm during a verbal altercation.
According to police, the woman yelled, "I don't care if they kids or not, I'll shoot them!" at the victims.
Officers then made contact with the suspect who was identified as 33-year-old Terri Morrison.
According to Morrison, she had an argument with the victims and went inside her residence to get her black 9mm Taurus. She told officers that she waved the firearm while yelling at the victim to scare them.
Morrison was subsequently arrested and transported to the Ouachita Correctional Center. She was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Firearm.
