LRPD: Flag Football Recruitment

The Lafayette Recreation and Parks Department (LRPD) is seeking Flag Football officials for the adult and teener programs. Meetings will be held Wednesday, August 22 and Tuesday, August 28, both at 7 p.m. at Girard Park for anyone interested. New officials should attend this meeting to be considered to work this fall. New rules and changes will be covered at the meetings so all officials are encouraged to attend. Also, the LRPD Teener Flag Football Season will be starting soon. Anyone interested in participating in this program should make plans to attend or have a representative attend the meeting, Wednesday August 29. The meeting will be at Girard Park at 7 p.m.; registration packets will be given out for the first time and 201 rule changes will be discussed. Teener flag football is open to all high school students who are residents of Lafayette Parish or attend a parish school.
