As all of Louisiana prepares for severe winter weather, LSU has announced they will be closed Monday, Feb 15.

This means all classes and activities (both in-person and virtual) will be canceled. The LSU Early Childhood Education Laboratory Preschool will also be closed.

Virtual classes will be hosted for the LSU Vet School and the LSU Law Center.

LSU will also be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 16 for the previously scheduled Mardi Gras holiday.

Non-essential employees should not report to campus on Monday.

Dear LSU Community,

LSU will be closed on Monday, Feb. 15, due to the forecast of severe weather. Classes and activities scheduled for Monday -- whether in-person or virtual -- are cancelled. However, the LSU Vet School and the LSU Law Center will both hold classes virtually on Monday.

LSU will also be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 16, for the previously scheduled Mardi Gras holiday.

The closure includes the LSU Early Childhood Education Laboratory Preschool. LSU Online students should check with their Learner Concierge or faculty member for more information on those 100% online programs.

LSU bus service will also be suspended on Monday.

LSU residence halls, on-campus apartments and dining halls will remain open. Please check dineoncampus.com/lsu/ for updates regarding dining hall hours.

Essential employees should check with their supervisors about whether they should report to work on Monday. Non-essential employees should not report to campus on Monday.
