The LSU Tigers have been champions of college football for less than a day and we are already thinking ahead to next year. As fans, it's what we do. When our team loses it's always "wait 'til next year". When our team wins, we celebrate, go buy swag, talk trash, and seriously consider just how good our team is going to be moving forward.

Oddsmakers in Las Vegas have a similar interest in sports. They like the sports that we are willing to lay our money down for. College football is certainly one of those sports. That's why the men and women that set the spread wasted no time in getting the conversation about next year's college football season started.

At the Caeser's Sportsbook in Las Vegas, the betting choice to be college football's national champions is the team that found themselves in the runner-up position to LSU. That's right Las Vegas likes Clemson's chances with quarterback Trevor Lawrence returning and a pretty stout backfield, it's pretty easy to see why Clemson is the 2 to1 choice.

Two SEC schools make up choices two and three according to Caesar's. The Alabama Crimson Tide is a 4 to 1 choice to be champs of college football. LSU is currently on the board as a 9 to 2 choice to repeat in 2020. Ohio State is the fourth choice on the board at 7 to 1.

By the way, the next three teams on the oddsmakers charts are all SEC schools. Namely Georgia, Florida, and Auburn all given pretty decent odds to make a run at next year's championship trophy.

No other conference has five schools in the top ten on the Vegas' sportsbook boards. So, if you're a fan of another conference don't even start your jibber-jabber, our league is simply better than yours.
