A Lafayette man recently posted a photo of a scratch on his neck and he says that he was scratched by something or someone while sitting on the porch at the Myrtles Plantation.

Nick Allemond recently came across one of our stories from the Myrtles Plantation that shows reported photos of ghosts, which you can see by clicking here, and it reminded him of an experience he had while on the grounds there.

He tells me that a few years back he was waiting on the porch of the plantation house for his tour to start when something reportedly scratched him.

Allemond says he was sitting in a chair, where he was told a young spirit likes to stay.

Not thinking much of it he felt something sting or scratch him on his neck. He asked his wife at the time to see what stung him, but there was no sting.

On his neck was a scratch that covered a large portion across it. His wife took the photo to show him at the time.

No one was behind him because Allemond says his back and the back of the chair were up against a window of the house.

We've heard a number of stories through the years from those who have visited the grounds in St. Francisville, La., but I can't recall ever hearing anyone report anything like Nick's story.

He also says that he has a number of photos, which I hope to soon get from him, that appear to show spirits lurking in the trees at the Myrtles.

Here's the photo that he recently posted on social media after he saw our previous story on social media.
