Man Steals Flowers From a Grave to Give to Girlfriend

Flowers are a wonderful thing to give to your lady. Not sure how great a thing it would be if she found out you got said flowers from a grave site though!

That's exactly what happened in Jacksonville, Florida when 44-year-old David James Lee decided it a good idea to rip flowers out of the ground next to a tombstone. Yep, cops busted him as he was walking around a cemetery with three bouquets with fresh soil falling from them. Lee said he did not know the person who was buried there but was taking the flowers to give to his girlfriend.

He was promptly arrested on a charge of disturbing a gravestone. He's probably still in jail. Lee has only been arrested six times since 2008 on charges ranging from trespass and resisting arrest without violence to disorderly intoxication, according to jail records.
