A rumble of thunder, a flash in the sky, a warm cup of coffee on the porch, natures light show we all enjoy watching and marveling. We often forget that cozy thunderstorm could be the death of us in a flash. Lightning can and does strike unexpectedly. Most of know the basics of lightning safety.

But how many times have you run from the car to the house or into a store in a thunderstorm? I am sure this gentleman thought it was no big deal, getting an item from his car and scooting into the house. He was literally seconds away from being killed.
