Mom and Son Reunited 22 Years Later by Facebook Picture

Facebook has been great for several stories like these, but this one is no less heart-warming than any other. A mom and son meet for the first time after 22 years because of a picture that was posted on Facebook.  Just a simple picture with a few words.

A mother, Cherie Alvis of Lufkin Texas at the age of 17 had to give her newborn for adoption, but just this last week she posted the picture below and a picture of her son at a very young age, to Facebook.

According to Huffington Post, her son Clark Alldridge posted to Facebook just a few days later, "Here I Am Mom!" This past Saturday Cherie and her son Clark met for the first time.
