New Hairy Yeti Crab Discovered, Nicknamed ‘The Hoff’

A new species of crab has been discovered along the Southern Ocean floor near Antarctica. It's a hairy yeti crab, hence, inspiring comparisons to the fully chest fuzzed David Hasselhoff.

"The Hoff" has long hairs on its abdomen and were found in piles around hydrothermal vents on the seafloor during a 2010 expedition by British scientists. The findings were just published this week in the journal PLoS Biology.

I wonder how they taste boiled?
