NEW ORLEANS, La. (KMDL-FM) - One of the Crescent City's most popular haunted houses is being forced to take a year off.

Why Ghost Manor Is Canceling Halloween 2025

Ghost Manor, located in the Garden District, had to scrap this year's plans due to road construction in the area.

"We got sad news this year. We are forced to cancel Ghost Manor because of unexpected road construction," said David Gentry, owner of Ghost Manor.

The heavily-visited free attraction has been in operation for the last 13 Halloweens.

The owners of Ghost Manor said that with the constrained access routes for their 10,000+ annual visitors, they simply couldn't create the Ghost Manor experience under those conditions.
