New Orleans Jazz Fest 2019 Adds an Extra Day

If you are one of the thousands of people who enjoy the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival every spring, then we have good news for you. Jazz Fest organizers announced today that an extra day will be added to the 2019 lineup, and it's especially sweet for Louisiana residents.

'Locals Thursday' will kick off the 50th anniversary festivities on April 25th, 2019. It will allow anyone with a valid Louisiana drivers license to purchase up to two tickets at the gate for a discount on that day. The price of the tickets, with Louisiana ID, will be $50 for that day only.

Dates for the 2019 festival are April 25-28 and May 2-5. Entertainment lineup and ticket information will be released in December, and since it's the 50th anniversary, it's a pretty good bet that it's going to be a spectacular year for one of our state's most popular festivals. We can't wait!
