NEW ORLEANS, La. (KMDL-FM) - Lights, camera, Louisiana — a Christmas movie filming near New Orleans is now casting paid extras.

Movie Filming in the New Orleans Area

Caballero Casting has posted that they are casting for a movie entitled "A Christmas Kind of Love." The heartwarming, family-friendly Christmas movie will be filming in the New Orleans/Northshore area from March 2026 through April 2026.

Who They’re Looking For

Written and directed by Louisiana filmmaker Bethany Ashton Wolf, the movie is casting paid background talent of all ages.
