If you have ever attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, whether it be for classes or just a visit, you know one thing that bugs many people is parking. As a former student, the hardest part for me was finding a legal parking space that wouldn't leave me with a 10 or 15 minute walk to class. I'm sure some of you have experienced this struggle. Well, next month many of your parking problems will be solved.

Set to open next semester is a $21 million dollar, six-level parking garage, Girard Park Circle Parking Garage, allowing for easier parking for students with over 1,000 parking spaces. Even though there are no alternatives to 'the stairway of doom' in Griffin Hall, the parking garage will definitely lighten the load when trying to get to that English or Foreign Language class.
