On Sunday, May 3, one Louisiana contestant was eliminated, and one moved forward to the Top 11 for season 18 on ABC's 'American Idol'.

Gone is Destrehan's Faith Becnel, and moving forward is Jovin Webb, who resides in Baton Rouge but is originally from Gonzales.

If you would like to see her live, Faith will be performing a couple of shows here in her home state. She'll be at the Plaquemines Parish Seafood Festival in Belle Chasse on May 15, and at Destrehan Plantation on the River Road on June 13th.

Last night Jovin Webb performed a soulful rendition of 'Voodoo' by Allen Stone, an obvious and sweet nod to his Bayou State roots. You can see his performance below. And be on the look out for Jovin this Sunday, May 10 on the next 'American Idol' live show. Good luck from all your Acadiana folks, Jovin!
