
Oscar Mayer Wienermobile Coming to Lafayette
LAFAYETTE, La. (KMDL-FM) - The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile has just announced they'll be rolling into Lafayette Friday, February 13, and will be handing out their iconic Wiener Whistles and "serving up smiles".

The famous Oscar Mayer Wienermobile debuted in 1936, invented up by Oscar Mayer’s nephew, Carl Mayer, as a way to turn heads and get attention for the brand.
In 2023, Oscar Mayer briefly rebranded it as the “Frankmobile” to which the internet had thoughts, but the Wienermobile name came back fast due to public love and nostalgia.

This Friday, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile will roll into Lafayette for Downtown Alive! on 201 E Vermilion St, Downtown Lafayette from 5:00pm - 8:30pm.
