OWI Checkpoint Set For Friday Night

This Friday night, if you plan on going out and drinking, by all means have a fantastic time, but be safe. Get a designated driver, take a cab or get an Uber.

The Lafayette Police Department will conduct an OWI checkpoint between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m. at an undisclosed location in the city.

Officers working the checkpoint will respond with zero tolerance to those drivers found to be under the influence.
