Shocking Photo Shows Rare Black Deer Near Wooded Area

John Roach posted a photo on social media of two deer on his property near a wooded area in Michigan and it shows a very rare black deer.

He says that he often sees animals on his property, but to see a black deer is a first.

The black deer is known as melanistic and is considered the “rarest of rare.” Its genetic makeup produces too much pigment, thus the deer looks much darker than your average deer.
