It was Monday night, Memorial Day, and I was watching the Anthony Bourdain show No Reservations. It just happened to be a repeat of a show the Travel Channel did featuring Cajun cooking and culture. Bourdain was amazed at how people in South Louisiana all helped with the cooking. Some people did chopping, some did seasoning and some did stirring and they all were drinking.

That reminded me of my own cooking experiences. How many times have I had to miss the party or be in the conversation because I had to stay and stir the cook pot? With this incredible invention from Japan, no longer will I be missing out on the game, the gossip or the good laughs in the other room. I can't wait to buy one of these! I wonder if they make them in black iron.
