Production Company Looking for Volunteer Actors for Upcoming Short Film

Listen up you budding thespians, you have an opportunity to get in on a new short film being shot in the area.

According to J Millan Video Production LLC, producers are looking for volunteer actors of all ages and ethnicities for an upcoming short film with captures the "intense, and hilarious journey of a $20 bill."

If interested you are asked to bring a headshot and resume to auditions along with any footage of previous experience. The production also asks that you email your headshot and resume to exhange406movie@gmail.com or text/call 337-330-3034 for audition sides (scripts) or more information.

Auditions will be held October 10 at 6pm at 501 St John St in Lafayette.

If you have no experience, be prepared to speak for one of the roles.

Most of the production crews will consist of UL alumni.

Here is a list of characters they are looking for:

• John Henderson - A middle-aged black male who is a waiter at a local 24-hour spot
• Meagan - White female- A young single mother who works with John at the restaurant
• Cook - He is the cook at the 24-hour restaurant. Older black male
• Jason Henderson - A 13 yr old kid who’s dad is John
• Customer # 1- Older white male
• Suzy Henderson - Mid 30’s, wife of John
• Sonnier - Mid 50’s school teacher. Grey hair. White Female
• Bully #1 - A red-haired bully type kid. Bigger than rest of students- White Male
• Bully #2 - A leather wearing type kid with slick black hair- White Male
• Store Clerk - An Asian store owner, really old with glasses
• Customer - Business type guy in the wrong neighborhood- White Male
• Homeless Guy - Really old looking type, drug abuser- Black Male
• Drug Dealer - Young black male, street type guy
• Solomon - Older black man, gangster type appeal to him
• Scooter - Young drug dealer- Black Male
• Detective Rogers - Mid 40’s white male
• Detective Smith - 20’s white male, a rookie on the force
• Candace - A young black female. Really good looking girl (Light skinned or Spanish
• type)
• Honey - She’s older than Candace and she looks like she had a rough life- Older black
• female
• Gunman #1 - White male- skinny type
• Gunman #2 - Asian male
• Cab driver - Indian type male with strong accent
