After a 3-0 win Thursday night at ULM, Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun softball team was hoping to finish the season with a series sweep.

After trying to play a doubleheader last night in Monroe (for a series previously slated for game 2 on Friday night and game 3 on Saturday), mother nature had other ideas, forcing a postponement until today.

With the rain continuing this morning and expected to last most of the day, Louisiana and ULM canceled today's doubleheader.

Louisiana ends the regular season 47-4 overall, and 25-0 in Sun Belt play.

Up next, the Ragin' Cajuns will be the #1 seed in the Sun Belt Conference tournament in San Marcos, Texas and play this Thursday at 10am against an opponent to be determined.
