Cajun Nation already said goodbye to their home field, but there is going to be one Moore weekend at "The Tigue" for the Ragin' Cajuns.

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns are riding a ten game win streak, and they are coming fresh off a Sun Belt Conference Tournament Championship. They won the tournament in the minimum amount of games, and they were the first team in conference history to win three straight tournaments. Their dominance down the stretch earned them a nod from the NCAA Selection Committee, and it gave the fans exactly what they wanted.

Head Coach Tony Robichaux was thankful after they clinched the Sun Belt title, and the feeling held over hours later when they found out they were going to host a regional, June 3rd-6th.

"I give a lot of credit to the guys for staying the course all year long, and it paid off for us," Robichaux said after the championship.

Coach Robe's grinders are the only team outside of the Power Five conferences to earn a regional nod, and they're riding a hot streak. Look out.

After finding out his team would host, the first thing Coach Robe did was think of his fans.

“This is a huge reward for our players and coaching staff to be able to play on a national stage in front of one of the best fan bases in the country," Robe stated. He added, “The last two times that we have hosted a regional at The Tigue, the atmosphere was amazing and our fans turned out in great numbers. I’m confident they will do the same again this year."

LSU is also going to host a regional, so there won't be a conflict of the Cajuns and Tigers taking each other out early in the tournament. The full brackets will be released on Monday, but one more week at M.L. Tigue Moore Field is reason to celebrate.

Before the park gets a face lift, go out for one more party at "The Tigue." We'll see you in the stands.
