Ragin’ Cajuns WR Kyren Lacy Announces He’s Entered Transfer Portal
Another day, and yet another Ragin' Cajun football player could be on the move.
Wide receiver Kyren Lacy took to social media today to announce that he has entered the transfer portal.
What's interesting to note is that Lacy tweeted four days ago that he was committed to the Cajuns. That tweet has since been removed by Lacy.
A native of Thibodaux, Lacy has three years of eligibility remaining.
He played in 2020 and 2021, but of course, gained an extra year due to the pandemic.
In his two seasons with the Cajuns, the 6'3", 212-pounder has tallied a total of 50 receptions for 668 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Luckily for Cajuns' fans, the wide receiver group is really talented and deep.
At any rate, Lacy joins a growing list of Cajuns to enter the transfer portal since the end of the 2021 season. That list includes running backs Emani Bailey and Montrell Johnson, cornerback Mekhi Gardner and offensive lineman O'Cyrus Torrence.
