Raising Cane’s Is The Nation’s Fastest Growing Chain
"What's kicking, want some chicken"? The answer to that Raising Cane's fast food drive through question is a resounding yes. Needless to say, that question born in Louisiana is getting a lot of attention around the world as Louisiana-based Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers has been ranked as the nation's fastest growing chain.
The report issued by the Nations Restaurant News showed that the Raising Canes formula for success is really paying off. The chicken finger emporium that is known for its incredibly tasty dipping sauce and Texas toast placed higher in this national ranking than a lot of other well-known national brands.
According to a report on NOLA.com sales for the Baton Rouge-based business were up 26% over this past year. That translated into net sales of $640 million. That's a lot of toast, lemonade, sauce, and chicken fingers for sure.
The rest of the top 5 according to the NRN report were Jersey Mike's Subs, Marco's Pizza, Wingstop and Chick-Fil-A.
