Reverse Mardi Gras Parade Benefiting LARC
LARC is having a Reverse Mardi Gras parade and invite you to participate. What is a reverse parade? Well, it’s simple. You will be throwing your beads to be donated to LARC. The reverse parade is presented by RISE Chiropractic. This is a really cool idea and it helps a great cause at the same time. Yes, Mardi Gras looks different this year due to COVID-19, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun.
YOU get to do the bead throwin! Saturday, February 6th from 1 to 3 PM you can throw your beads to RISE Chiropractic. Or, you can just bring your Mardi Gras bead donations in to the RISE Chiropractic office now until Mardi Gras Day. You decorate your vehicle with the most festive Mardi Gras décor, and head to RISE Chiropractic to throw your beads (donations) from your decorated vehicle. All of the beads will go to LARC for their Beads-N-More program.
If you aren’t familiar with the Beads-N-More program, it is a huge fundraiser for LARC. LARC collects the Mardi Gras beads every year to benefit their Vocational Services Department.
RISE Chiropractic is located at Broussard Commons at 805 B Albertson Parkway in Broussard.
This will be a fun event for the entire family and what a great thing for your children to be involved in. So gather all those old beads from your attic and donate them to a great cause. Happy Mardi Gras!
