Road Trip To New Orleans This Weekend!

Lot's of cool things going on around our beautiful state this weekend! If you're headed to New Orleans, you have lots of music, art and food to look forward to. The annual Satchmo Summer Fest, which celebrates the music of Louis Armstrong, is always a blast, and Dirty Linen Night, which promotes the art galleries and antique shops on Royal Street, is fantastic as well!

Of course, you have the Tim Mcgraw / Kenny Chesney / Jake Owen show at the Superdome Friday night, and MY personal favorite is White Linen Night on Saturday, which celebrates art and food, along Julia Street in the Arts District.

Whew! We're lucky we have so much to choose from, and headed to New Orleans for a little road trip, be careful, have fun, and be glad we live in a state that puts so much emphasis on our culture! Yay Louisiana!
