Sadly, No One Showed Up To This Autistic Teen’s Birthday But You Can Help Her Know She’s Loved

Hallee Sorenson, an 18-year-old girl with autism had a birthday party last year, and no one she invited showed up. Well, the internet has found out about this heartbreaking situation and is doing something about it, and you can to.

Hallee's Cousin posted this heart wrenching photo to Facebook.

Hallee's cousin says that 20 people we're invited to the party, and that Hallee was "heartbroken and sad" when no one showed up. She says Hallee was crying into her birthday cake.

 Rebecca Lyn, Hallee's cousin also posted that "Hal loves getting mail — this would be the best birthday gift she could ask for. If you could find it in your heart to take a few mins out of your day and send her a card, I would be forever grateful."

Thousands of people are posting to Lyn's Facebook page that they're moved to tears and are sending cards.

Hallee's 19th birthday is next month, so her cousin is hoping to give her a birthday so fantastic she forgets all about last year.
