The New Orleans Saints will try to move their record to 2-0 this afternoon when they take on Tampa Bay. The Saints were winners last week defeating the Atlanta Falcons 23-17. The Saints defense shutdown Atlanta in the final seconds of the game to secure the victory.

Meanwhile Tampa Bay had all but beaten the New York Jets when the Bucs inexperience and poor coaching revealed itself. A late personal foul penalty by the Tampa Bay defense put the Jets in position to kick the winning field goal. Needless to say Tampa Bay will still be stinging a little bit after that loss.

There have been reports of unrest  in the Tampa Bay locker room. Our Saints reporter Gus Kattengell even reported that there was a players only meeting to determine if the selection of team captains was legit. Many sources indicate Tampa Bay is a team in name only and this could certainly play to the Saints benefit.

While New Orleans is feeling a lot more cohesive thanks to the return of Sean Payton, the Buccaneers might just be a ship that is drifting apart. If the Saints go up big early in the game don't be surprised if Tampa Bay doesn't drop the sails and wave the white flag.

The current line on the game  has the Saints at least a field goal favorites. I personally think that the game won't even be that close.
