You can feel the excitement building. The smell of fresh boudin is wafting over the breeze and the city of Scott is about to let us all celebrate that incredibly Cajun concoction known as boudin. The Scott Boudin Festival is just a few weeks away.

Last night at Don's Specialty Meats festival organizers and invited guests were given the first look at the festival's official poster. Posters are a really big deal for any festival worth its seasoning. This year's poster does not disappoint.

The artist chosen to create this collectible piece of unique artwork is Tony Bernard.

As you can see Tony's vision for the Boudin Festival features a musically inclined piggy with his hooves gently caressing the business ends of an accordion. The pig is standing among lengths of boudin on top of a Louisiana license plate that appropriately reads, BOUDIN.

Tony's vision for the Boudin Festival poster is also available on shirts and other merchandise. It is available through his gallery. I would also imagine you could probably pick some festival merchandise up at the festival itself in April.

The Scott Boudin Festival takes place in Scott April 5th through the 7th. The festival has some great shopping, music, fun rides, and of course a lot of boudin. Most of it created and conceived in the boudin capital of the world.
