Scotty McCreery Makes Billboard’s ‘ Music’s Hottest Minors’ List

19 year old Scotty McCreery is the anti Miley Cyrus, but they both made Billboard Magazines's 21 under 21: Music’s Hottest Minors 2013 list this week.

From the Nashville Tennessean: Scotty recently donated $50,000 to youth sports programs, is sponsoring an underprivileged child overseas through World Vision and is encouraging his fans to do the same. In addition, McCreery released a new video for his current single “See You Tonight.” It contains no nudity or wrecking balls, but does feature trucks, soldiers and hand-holding.

Both Cyrus and McCreery are releasing new albums in the coming weeks. Cyrus’ “Bangerz” is due in stores Oct. 8 and McCreery’s “See You Tonight” will be released Oct. 15. Scotty is the kind of artist you want your kids to look up to.... are you listening, Miley?
