They had enough.

Watch as two sea lions chase beachgoers from a beach in the La Jolla area of San Diego.

There's no report as to what may have triggered this response from the sea lions, but some speculate that mating season often forces them to become territorial.

As you can see in the video below, those on the beach were running from these massive animals and lifeguards were on stand-by.

The sea lions did ultimately retreat back into the water and there were no reports of people injured in this wild scene.
