Shaking Out the Good Stuff for Acadiana Animal Aid
More than 50% of Louisiana homes feature pets. For the most part, Louisiana is a state of dog lovers. About 39% of the state's households house a dog. The remaining 13% of the state's households that have pets come under the heading of cat owner or they own both a dog and a cat. So, as you can see when we shine the Morton Salt Shaking out the Good Stuff spotlight we are highlighting a subject that is near and dear to a lot of people.
Today we are using the good news beacon that is the Shaking out the Good Stuff spotlight to tell you about a fundraising opportunity for Acadiana Animal Aid. The event is set for this Thursday at the UL Ballroom on campus in Lafayette. The event, Bark in the Dark is billed as being more than just a gala, it's a beacon of hope for our four-legged and furry friends.
Bark in the Dark will feature a delicious sit-down dinner and an exhilarating live auction. At last report, sponsorship opportunities were still available and tickets and tables were still available for the event as well. If you're interested, you may purchase those by following this link.
The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. in the Atchafalaya Grand Ballroom on campus at the University of Louisiana. The suggested attire is "cocktail". Some of the items you'll be able to bid on and buy include tickets to see Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, a special trip in the Mediterranean aboard a private yacht, a vacation in Tuscany with a private chef, and a four-day pass to the Formula 1 Montreal Grand Prix.
Shaking Out the Good Stuff is a weekly feature of Morton Salt's Week's Island Facility.
