It's always been a part of Fan Fair, now CMA Music festival, it's the City of Hope Softball game and this year the roster of Country Stars taking the field has gotten even bigger. If you're heading to Nashville for CMA Fest make sure you get there in time for the game because you are going to see a lot of your favorites!

The softball game is always fun and you really get to see the competitive side of some of your favorite artists. I can tell you from personal experience you do not want to be between Carrie Underwood and home plate. She will spike you if she has to slide! (Carrie Underwood not confirmed to be playing this year, but plenty of other stars you know and love are).

For more than 20 years, Nashville’s hottest stars have been coming together on the softball field to raise awareness and funds for City of Hope, one of the nation’s leading research, treatment and education centers for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening illnesses, at the Celebrity Softball Challenge, now an official part of the CMA Music Festival.

This year, City of Hope is offering two lucky winners the once-in-a-lifetime chance to get into the dugout with country music’s brightest stars, including Vince Gill, Dierks Bentley and David Nail, as official “draft picks” on the celebrity teams, plus tickets to CMA Music Fest concerts, airfare and accommodation!

So, how can you join this all-star celebrity softball team? It’s easy! Just share your short “Connected to Hope” story at www.cityofhope.org/connected and you could be on your way to Nashville this June!
