Sonic Christmas Parade Cancelled

Mother Nature is playing the Grinch to Lafayette's Christmas parade plans.

Parade organizers announced earlier today that the Sonic Christmas Parade, scheduled to roll through downtown and Oil Center Sunday afternoon, has been cancelled due to the threat of inclement weather.  According to Lafayette police, parade organizers have notified authorities that the parade will not be rescheduled.
