St. Landry Parish Man Claims $2 Million Powerball Prize
A St Landry Parish man cashed in his Powerball ticket this week, claiming a cool $2 million.
Anthony Colligan purchased his winning ticket at the One Stop convenience store in Grand Coteau.
Colligan netted $1.4 million after state and federal tax withholdings on July 11.
A veterinary assistant at Baronne Veterinary Clinic, Colligan says he plans to keep working. While he doesn't plan any extravagant purchases soon, he did say he might buy a zero-turn lawn mower.
Sounds like a good guy! Enjoy your breathing room Anthony.
