St. Mary Detectives Seeking Two Suspects In Alleged Battery, Robbery Case
The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office is looking for 19-year-old Kaleb Calloway and 29-year-old John Buck, Jr. for the alleged robbery and battery of two men during an incident at 19-year-old Blake Wain's home.
Just before 3 o'clock Tuesday morning, the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office was called out to respond to a possible battery at the home on Parish Road 131 in Centerville.
A detective says evidence collected at the scene points to Wain and three other men repeatedly hitting the men during a drug related robbery. The detective says one man had his jaw broken.
While executing a search warrant at Wain's home, detectives say they arrested Blake Wain, Arnette Brashear, Alarena Jarrell and Alyssandra Russo after finding a bottle that had ecstasy pills in it. They also recovered a firearm and a pipe used for smoking pot.
The following people were arrested on several charges:
Blake Wain, 19, 656 Parish Road 131, Centerville, LA was arrested on March 1, 2016 at 9:52 pm for the following offenses:
- Warrant for 2nd degree battery, simple battery, and attempted robbery
- Possession of Schedule I (ecstasy) with intent to distribute
- Possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
Arnette J. Brashear, 18, 1408 West Willow Street, Lafayette, LA was arrested on March 1, 2016 at 9:52 pm for the following offenses:
- 1st degree robbery
- Simple battery
- Possession of Schedule I (ecstasy) with intent to distribute
- Possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance
- Possession of drug paraphernalia.
Alarena Jarrell, 20, 656 Parish Road 131, Centerville, LA was arrested on March 1, 2016 at 9:52 pm on a warrant for the following
- Possession of Schedule I (ecstasy) with intent to distribute
- Possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance.
Alyssandra Russo, 18, 1408 West Willow Street, Lafayette, LA was arrested on March 1, 2016 at 9:52 pm on a warrant for the following:
- Possession of Schedule I (ecstasy) with intent to distribute
- Possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance.
Police are still looking for Calloway and Buck in connection with the case.
Detectives have issued an arrest warrant for Calloway and Buck for second degree robbery and simple battery.
Calloway's last known address is Sun Street in Bayou Vista, while Buck's last known address is Ricohoc Drive in Ricohoc.
