Study Shows Women Sleep Better With A Dog In The Bed
A new report was released today confirming what we all already knew. Women get a better night's sleep when they share the bed with a dog. Here's why...
The study published in the Journal of the International Society for Anthrozoology found that women who sleep with their dogs have "less disturbed sleep and greater feelings of security and comfort".
It was also found that women who slept with pet cats in the bed did not show the same results. Sorry cat lovers.
Dog owners also tend to fall asleep earlier and wake up earlier than cat owners according to the study.
For the record, we currently have two dogs, two cats, a hamster, a rabbit and a parakeet in my house, a baby possum somewhere in my shed and a snake under our deck and I haven't slept in 8 years...just thought I'd throw that out there.
