All kinds of fun summer camps will be available to young students in Acadiana. Here is a little something extra for the piano players of Acadiana:

Piano Camp at ASO. Students will have the chance to explore new styles and skills including:  jazz and pop music, playing by ear, improvisation, duet playing, ear training, sight reading, harmonizing a melody, composition, and having fun in ensembles with other percussion instruments. The piano camp will be from July 16-21. To register, click here.

Also, Storypalooza will be a great opportunity for kids to tell their own stories while learning the skills to write scripts, create visual sets, act on stage, and learn to work with audio and video production equipment. The camp will have two sessions, the first starting June 4-8 and the second June 18-22. To register, click here.

A summer camp for explorers is also an excellent experience for kids. Students will get to visit some of Acadiana's  most interesting places. Scavenger hunts, explorations, and much more. Summer camp for explorers will be held July 23-27. To register, click here.

Lastly, a visual arts camp with Bonnie Camos will be held July 30- August 3. Students will complete several projects such as printmaking, clock making, collages, and much more. The week will end with an art show at the Conservatory. To register, click here.
