The list is growing for Louisiana festivals that are canceling celebrations for 2021

Like pretty much all events across Acadiana for the next several weeks, the Cajundome has had to postpone or cancel a slew of big shows that were scheduled for the arena.

The City of New Orleans has now canceled several events scheduled for this weekend in the wake of the news that two more patients testing presumptive for coronavirus in New Orleans hospitals.

Wet grounds are given as the reason South Louisiana residents will have to make their own gumbo or chili at home this weekend.

Several Masses at Diocese of Lafayette Catholic Churches have been canceled for this weekend, and are being updated at www.diolaf.org/mass-cancellations, according to the diocese.
