Church Cancellations Announced Throughout Acadiana

Several masses at Diocese of Lafayette Catholic Churches have been canceled for this weekend, and are being updated at www.diolaf.org/mass-cancellations, according to the diocese.

The following cancellations were confirmed as of 1:20 p.m.

- St. Theresa and St. Benedict churches in Duson are cancelling Mass today and tomorrow.

- First Assembly of God on Verot School Road has canceled services tomorrow due to flooding and road closures.

- Our Lady of Lourdes in Erath is canceling its 4 p.m. Mass today.

- Church of the Covenant United Methodist Church at 300 E Martial in Lafayette, all Sunday services.

- United Methodist Churches in Kaplan and Indian Bayou, all Sunday Masses
