To get the show started, former members of Trace Adkins' first band Bayou got together for a reunion. Kip Sonnier, Steve Grisaffe, Eddie Bodin, along with Jeff Dugan and friends were fantastic, and even kicked into a great rendition of River Road's "Nickajack", Steve Grisaffe's former band.

The 1998 Acadiana High School graduate is the son of David Varisco, the drummer for legendary band Atchafalaya and the current band Lafayette's Bayou Boys, who sing The Dawg's birthday song.
