Lafayette City-Parish President Joey Durel and mayor of Greenville, North Carolina, Allen Thomas, have agreed to a friendly wager over the New Orleans Bowl this weekend.

Well done Cajuns fans, well done. According to the UL box office and Ragin' Cajuns Sports Information Director Brian McCann, the current New Orleans Bowl ticket count stands at over 18,000 sold!

As we all gear up for Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns competing in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl on December 22nd, Cajuns fans wanting to show their school pride can now do so on their vehicle.

There's only 18 days till Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns take on the East Carolina Pirates in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. A lot of you have already reserved your tickets and your hotel room, now you need to know what festivities are going on leading up to the big game.

Looks like the Ragin Cajuns finally know who their opponent will be when they head to their second consecutive New Orleans Bowl on December 22.

This year's R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl will be a bit different from last year. The game will be at 11am instead of 8pm. That just means the partying starts a little sooner.

For the second straight year Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns are heading to the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The game is set for 11am on Saturday, December 22nd. While the Cajuns don't know yet who their opponent will be, Cajuns fans do know they want to be "in that number."

Following the UL Ragin' Cajuns blowout win over South Alabama on Saturday night at Cajun Field, there was a big announcement. For the second straight year the Cajuns are going bowling in New Orleans. The R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl on Saturday, December 22nd to be exact.

Fox Sports recently ranked the bowl games from this season and the Cajuns' dramatic win over San Diego State in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl came in #2. That's second only to the overtime Fiesta Bowl between Stanford and Oklahoma State.

Unless you live under a rock, you're aware that our Ragin' Cajuns won the R+L Carrier New Orleans Bowl. I had quite a time with the Pride of Acadiana.

Ragin Cajun fans can wear their support for Coach Hud and the boys proudly on their cars again this year. Rouses Supermarket on Betrand Drive across from Cajun Field is hosting another Ragin Cajun Car Painting event  from 1pm until 4p to help fans get ready for the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl. ...
