Volunteers from several states are on their way to Louisiana to help with hurricane relief efforts

Hurricane Harvey is threatening our neighbors in Texas and southwestern Acadiana and the Red Cross is offering training for those who want to help with disaster aid.

Nearly a million meals have been served in Louisiana since flooding began.

The Red Cross has opened 11 shelters across the state; two are in Acadiana.
