Les Miles just sold a home and purchased another in the Baton Rouge area. Could he be in the real estate market again this time in Knoxville Tennessee? According to a report on 247sports.com Coach Miles has been contacted in regards to the coaching vacancy at the school.

Just days ago ESPN reported that Miles was in fact interested in the position but at the time of the report had not contacted Tennessee about exploring any opportunity.

If you think about the recent turn of events at Tennessee a Miles-to-Knoxville hire wouldn't be that far out of the realm of possibility. The Vols on Friday made former Tennessee head football coach and living Tennessee legend Phil Fulmer athletic director.

Fulmer and Miles have a relationship. They've faced each other three different times during Miles' tenure at LSU. Fullmer won one of those meetings, Les took the other two.

The hiring of an established name in the head coaching position would at least douse the dumpster fire that has been the Tennessee coaching search. Don't fool yourself, Tennessee has great talent already there. If you include recruiting from Coach Fulmer, possibly Coach Miles, and maybe even the addition of Tee Martin, who currently serves as offensive coordinator for USC, there would be even more talent wanting to play for or is it at Rocky Top.

Now comes the waiting game and of course the approval by Tennessee twitter followers who started this whole mess anyway. Personally, I hope it works out for Coach Miles. Whether he gets the gig or doesn't, I just hope it works out the way he wants it to work out.
