Terryn’s Top 5 Favorite Vixens to Get You Ready for the Red Hot Mardi Gras Ball

Superman, Batman, and X-Men. What do all of these classics have in common? Of course they all have good looking male heroes at the star. But, where there's a hero there must be a villain...or vixen!

These are just a few vixens that I have always been fascinated by.

Catwoman (Batman #1) This legendary vixen, aka Selina Kyle, made her debut in the very first Batman. Her brief back story is that she was an orphan on the streets of Gotham who took to thievery in order to survive. She also put a spin on things bringing her martial arts training and being as sly as a cat.

Harley Quinn (Batman: The Animated Series) Making her very first appearance in Batman: The Animated Series in episode 'Joker's Favor,' Harley Quinn was born Harleen Quinzel and worked as a psychiatrist who was assigned to The Joker. She fell in love with him and took on a her very own masked persona helping Joker reek havoc on Gotham.

Phoenix (X-Men #1) Better known as Jean Grey, Phoenix made her debut in the very first X-Men. She was born a mutant with telepathic and telekinetic abilities. She is kind in her human form, but poses a severe threat when she become Phoenix.

Poison Ivy (Batman #181) Poison Ivy, humanly known as Dr. Pamela Lillian Isley, is obsessed with nature. She loves plants and botany. Her 'craft' is using toxins from plants and mind controlling pheromones to lure men to their doom.

Elektra (Daredevil #168) Who wouldn't enjoy a good looking female ninja assassin? Elektra is naturally drawn to superhero Daredevil. However, she is violent in nature and the two always seem to be at each others' throats.

Now which one to chose? I have no idea which vixen I will be dressed as for the Red Hot Vixens & Villains Mardi Gras Ball on January 30th, but it will definitely be a close race between these ladies. It is presented by Beads for Less and will be held at La Marquise at Parc Lafayette.
