Thousands Of Bottles Of Wish-Bone Salad Dressing Recalled
I thought salad was supposed to be good for you? Here lately it appears as if salad is on a one-way track to destroy us all. There's no doubt that you've heard about the recall of Romaine lettuce around the nation. That's because of an e.coli outbreak that has been linked to the lettuce.
Now comes word that what we might want to pour over our lettuce could put us at risk as well. Pinnacle Foods, the people who bring you Wish-Bone House Italian Salad Dressing, is voluntarily recalling almost 77-hundred cases of dressing because of a labeling issue.
The recall is specifically for 15-ounce bottles of Wish-Bone House Italian dressing with a "best if used date of Jan. 13, 2019".If you'd like to check your bottle of salad dressing you can look on the label around the neck wrapper.
The reason for the recall is that the label does not reflect that the product contains milk and eggs. It should because the product does contain those two ingredients. They aren't a big issue for most people but if you suffer allergies then there could be a substantial issue.
The product should have been removed from all store shelves. If you have a bottle of the recalled dressing in your home you may contact customer service through the number or website provided on the bottle.
