St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz says that two men have been arrested and are facing charges of home invasion, armed robbery and 2nd degree sexual battery stemming from an incident on Saturday, June 22.

Sheriff Guidroz stated, "Deputies were called out to a residence off of Hwy 178 in Opelousas regarding an armed robbery that left one victim in the hospital. After speaking with the victim, it was discovered that Lemelle and Guillory forced their way into the victims home armed with a baseball bat, a crow bar and brass knuckles with a blade. The victim knew both of the suspects so it was easy for him to give investigators names and discriptions of the suspects."
